Questions About File Organization Training

What MacStartup teaches, how a consultation request is reviewed, and what the training does not claim.

What does MacStartup teach?

How to organize user-created and user-saved files: documents, photographs, downloads, desktop items, and the folders around them. Training and guides are for individuals and businesses who want to do that work themselves.

Is MacStartup a Mac cleaner I can download?

No. MacStartup publishes cleanup education and file organization training. It is not a cleanup application, and it is not affiliated with Apple or MacPaw.

Does the form book a consultation?

No. A submission asks for a review. Training or a consultation is discussed first. Nothing is booked from the form, and MacStartup does not organize files on your Mac.

Will organizing files make my Mac faster?

Not as a promise. Learning to put files in order can make them easier to manage. It is not repair, Mac optimization as a speed guarantee, or a promise to speed up Mac performance.

Who deletes a file?

You do, on your own Mac, if you decide a file should go. MacStartup does not delete files on your device. Keep a backup before you remove anything important.

Can a business request training, or only an individual?

Both. Describe whether the files are personal, commercial, or mixed so the examples do not treat them as the same collection.

Which training should I request?

Start from the files in front of you: a general file mess, storage used by your own files, photographs, documents, or a crowded desktop. If that split is unclear, choose Not Sure and describe what you want to learn.

Can I do this myself?

Yes. That is the point of the guides and the training. The guides explain folder grouping, storage review, and photo sorting. A consultation is optional when you want a personalized explanation.

Do you need my passwords or remote login?

No. Do not send passwords, Apple ID details, payment cards, or remote-access credentials. The form asks what you want to learn, not for the files themselves, and MacStartup does not sign in to your Mac.

Can I organize the files myself?

Yes. The guides cover folders, storage used by your files, photographs, and the difference between a cleaner app and manual sorting. Training is optional when you want a personalized explanation.

Do you sell or install CleanMyMac?

No. CleanMyMac is a separate product associated with MacPaw. MacStartup does not own CleanMyMac and does not imply endorsement by MacPaw.

What happens after I submit the contact form?

The request is reviewed. If training or a consultation appears relevant, the next step is a discussion of the scope. There is no automatic booking. MacStartup does not organize or delete files on your Mac.

Where can I read about privacy?

See the Privacy Policy for the form fields, email delivery, hosting logs, and the fact that no analytics scripts are installed.
