MacStartup teaches digital file organization for individuals and businesses. The lessons cover folder structure, documents, photographs, and archives you can understand later—not computer repair and not a downloadable cleaner.
Independent file organization education
People lose time in files they saved themselves: three copies of one export, a desktop used as storage, a Documents folder that mixes household papers with client work. MacStartup teaches a structure that matches how you talk about those materials, so you can apply it yourself.
The teaching is independent. MacStartup is an independent education resource and is not affiliated with Apple Inc., MacPaw, or CleanMyMac.
Why a clear structure matters
A folder name is a decision you can reuse. When current projects, older records, and incoming downloads have different homes, the next file has somewhere to go. That is useful for one person and for a small team sharing a Mac or a set of project folders.
Documents and photographs
Documents and photographs are taught as the files you point to. A business might group work by client or job. A household might group pictures by year or event. Suggested names are discussed. You apply them. They are not a silent sweep of your Mac.
You control file decisions
You move your own files after you understand the plan. Removing a file is your decision. MacStartup does not delete user files and does not remove system files.
Keep a backup you can restore before a large reorganization. Training does not recover deleted data and does not repair the computer.
How a request is handled
You describe what you want to learn, submit the form, and wait for a review. If training or a consultation fits, the scope is discussed, including any follow-up. A submission is not a booking and not permission to change your files. Details are on How MacStartup Works.
